Robert Mood is the current President of the Norwegian Red Cross. With over 40 years of experience he has held national and international leadership positions. As Chief of the United Nations Truce Supervision Organization (UNTSO) Mood was commissioned to assist Kofi Annan in his work as Special Envoy of the Secretary-General and the Arab League on the Syrian crisis. In addition to numerous awards and decorations, Mood is a recognized speaker, writer and commentator.
